熒光染料PI（碘化丙啶）是一種可對DNA染色的細胞核染色試劑，常用于細胞凋亡檢測，英文全稱是Propidium Iodide。它是一種溴化乙啶的類似物，在嵌入雙鏈DNA后釋放紅色熒光。盡管PI不能通過活細胞膜，但卻能穿過破損的細胞膜而對核染色。PI經(jīng)常被用來與Calcein-AM或者FDA等熒光探針一起使用，能同時對活細胞和死細胞染色。PI-DNA復(fù)合物的激發(fā)和發(fā)射波長分別為535 nm和615 nm。
